Emma Marcus, DO is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages—from newborns to older adults. She enjoys caring for the entire family and is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients through every stage of life.
Dr. Marcus came to Santa Maria to complete her Family Medicine residency at Marian Hospital. After falling in love with the Central Coast, she and her family decided to make it their forever home. She is honored to serve the community she now calls home.
Her clinical interests include newborn and pediatric care, preventive medicine, adult primary care, and diabetes management. She believes in practicing guideline-driven, evidence-based medicine while partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals.
In addition to comprehensive primary care, Dr. Marcus performs a variety of in-office procedures, including skin biopsies, joint injections, IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon® insertion and removal, and newborn circumcisions. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, she also provides Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) to help treat musculoskeletal conditions and support overall wellness.
Dr. Marcus welcomes patients from birth through 100+ and would love the opportunity to care for your entire family. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three wonderful children, cooking, and exploring the beautiful Central Coast through hiking.
